Jordan Raynor, Founder
Jordan Raynor is the Founder of Called to Create and the author of the upcoming book, Called to Create: A Biblical Invitation to Create, Innovate, and Risk. He is the Founder of Vocreo, where his team helps entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries launch and grow their businesses. In 2016, Jordan took an indefinite leave of absence from Vocreo to take on the role of CEO at one of the firm’s portfolio companies: the venture-backed tech startup, Threshold 360. A highly sought-after public speaker on the topic of entrepreneurship, Jordan has spoken at Harvard University, SXSW, TEDx, the World Forum for Democracy, the Guardian’s Activate Summit, and many other events around the world. Jordan has twice been selected as a Google Fellow and served in the Bush White House in 2006. He is a sixth-generation Floridian currently residing in Tampa with his wife, Kara, and their two young daughters Ellison and Kate. The Raynors are members of The Church at Odessa.
Chris Perry, Content Creator
Chris Perry serves as a Content Creator at Called to Create, writing content for our weekly devotional emails. A thinker and dreamer who is forever astonished at the wonder and beauty of God as it intersects with this fractured world, Chris is a creative with a poetic imagination. He sees the constant potentiality of all areas of life experiencing restoration through the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is reflected in his writing, in his conversations, and in his work. Chris holds bachelors degree in theology from Palm Beach Bible College and a Master of Divinty from Knox Theological Seminary. He is both a pastor and an educator, having served in the local church for over 8 years and in private Christian education for 2. Chris is also a doting husband to Amy and crazy dad to Leeland, Cohen, and Amelia.
Ashley Penny, Community Manager
Ashley Penny, Community Manager for the Called to Create team, is an avid traveler, entrepreneur, and digital media enthusiast. Ashley desires to see individuals connected, inspired, and empowered on social media to fulfill their calling, shift culture, and lead revival in the digital age. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in International Business with a concentration in Economics. Originally from North Carolina, Ashley spends the summers on the Greek island of Crete, where she helped start and currently runs The Way Guesthouse.
